A NOTE FOR PARENTS

When your child gets stuck, resist the temptation to give the answer. Instead, ask:

“What do you already know?”

“What can you rule out?”

The thinking that happens before the answer is often the most valuable part of the puzzle. Let them struggle a little, let them make mistakes, let them discover.

That is where logical thinking grows.


ANSWER

There are 4 possibilities if A and B are required to be different digits: (1,2), (2,4), (3,6), and (4,8).
